Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, managing administrative tasks, and supporting various office functions.
20 hours a week with a 4 day work week (M, T, TH, F) Please send your resume our way! We are a private practice.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional manner at the front desk
- Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate personnel
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars
- Assist in planning and coordination
- Provide administrative support such as data entry, filing, and document preparation
- Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service
-Respects patients by recognizing their rights; maintaining confidentiality.
- Assist with medical office tasks if required
- Utilize simple software for basic accounting tasks
- Answering phone calls/ emails in efforts to direct them to the appropriate staff member(s).
- Type and proofread documents, reports, and other materials as needed
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary
Skills:
- Previous experience in a front desk or administrative role preferred
- Proficiency in computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, polished, and professional demeanor
- Proficiency in administrative tasks and office procedures
- Knowledge of medical receptionist duties is a plus
- Typing proficiency with accuracy
- Ability to provide exceptional customer support
- Familiarity with office equipment (e.g., printers, scanners).
